Role

The Part-Time Preschool Associate Minister faithfully serves children, volunteers, parents, and other members of the Next Gen team by planning, preparing, and overseeing weekend services, discipling and caring for volunteer teams, and providing general ministerial presence to TVC.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute weekend services in Little Village 
  • Disciple, develop, and care for volunteer teams and individual volunteers
  • Disciple, develop, and care for children and families
  • Assist in the development and management of the preschool curriculum.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • High school diploma required
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Natural leadership skills, ability to cast vision and manage a team
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Identifying and training leaders
  • Administrative skills, incl. knowledge of Google Suite
  • Adapting to changing work conditions and roles
