Juliana Wootten

Care Resident

Life Story

I was raised attending a small country Baptist church where my father served as a deacon. Service was modeled well for me as I observed my father being the hands and feet of Jesus for our church family. I was active in many church programs from an early age. I attended mission trips to Mexico and loved serving others like I had observed my dad doing.

It wasn’t until my late middle school years that I accepted Jesus as my Savior and was baptized. The Lord captured my heart at a youth camp my friend invited me to and I began a relationship with Jesus. After high school, I attended LeTourneau University where I met my husband, Jordan. We moved to DFW during the summer of 2012 and joined The Village Church. The Lord has used TVC to further my relationship with Him and has served as a close-knit family. Over the last decade, I have served in Kids Ministry, as a Home Group Leader, Home Group Leader Coach, and Training Program Cohort Leader.

I am an educator with over 13 years of experience and I served my last four years at Marcus High School in Special Education. I am the Capernaum Coordinator for Lewisville-Flower Mound YoungLife and am passionate about advocating for those in the special needs population. I am eager to step into this new role as the Disability Care Resident where I will have the honor of developing a Special Needs Ministry for TVC.

Hope for The Village Church

I hope we will be a welcoming home for all and that everyone will have an opportunity to experience community and connection within the church body. I hope the Disability Care Ministry will serve as an outreach to those in the community who long to belong.
