TVC Responsibilities:
In this two-year residency position, I am joining a team that is researching, building, and launching a brand new Disability Care Ministry for TVC. As part of the Care Department, this position helps to support individuals, caregivers, and families.

When and how did the Lord save you?
Although I grew up in church and was raised in a Jesus-loving home, the Lord captured my heart in late middle school at a youth camp I attended with a friend from school. It was then I recognized that I needed Jesus and wasn’t able to “earn” my way into Heaven, no matter how good I was.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
My family and I moved to the DFW area during the summer of 2012 for work. We visited several churches in the area but fell in love with the people of TVC and decided to plant our family roots here.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
Astronaut. Space is fascinating to me!

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Leslie Knope because I admire her optimistic, cheerful attitude. She is hard-working, passionate about her job, and super ambitious. I love that Leslie is loyal and has a strong set of values and beliefs that she doesn’t compromise on.

Favorite Hobby:
My favorite hobby is playing Carcassone. A dear friend introduced me to the board game about five years ago, and I’ve been playing daily on my phone ever since. It is my favorite downtime activity. I enjoy it because it involves strategy, and no two games are the same.
